Job summary

PTW Energy Services in Calgary is seeking Structural Steel Fitters for full-time roles in our steel fabrication shop. You will interpret drawings, plan material sequences, and contribute to efficient fabrication processes.

Role requires 1+ years of commercial/industrial experience with strong safety awareness. Overtime opportunities and paid training are available to develop your skills in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years commercial/industrial experience.
• Welding courses and Interprovincial Trade Certification (Red Seal) considered assets.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings and plan material selection and cutting sequences.
• Prepare, lay out, and detail heavy metal components to specification.
• Set up and operate metalworking equipment (torches, grinders, drills, punches).
• Fit, torch cut, assemble, and install fabricated components to final stage.
• Safely rig and move materials while maintaining organized, compliant work areas.

Role Summary:

We are currently hiring Structural Steel Fitters for full-time positions in our steel fabrication shop in Calgary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret engineering drawings and plan efficient material selection and cutting sequences
• Prepare, lay out, and detail heavy metal components to specification
• Set up and operate metalworking equipment, including torches, grinders, drills, and punches
