Ledcor seeks skilled Structural Ironworkers for Fort Saskatchewan, AB, joining a major industrial construction project. You’ll support structural steel erection and installation while working with an experienced team focused on safety, quality and craftsmanship.

Apprentice or Journeyperson Ironworkers are invited to apply. The role involves working at heights, following blueprints and lift plans, and adhering to fall protection and site orientations on an active industrial site.

Formación

• Journeyperson Ironworker ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
• Apprentice Ironworkers must be registered with a provincial training authority
• Previous industrial construction experience
• Comfortable working at heights
• Valid Fall Protection certification
• Valid government-issued identification
• Ability to complete all required project and site orientations prior to starting work

Responsabilidades

• Erect, install and align structural steel components, including beams, columns, platforms and pipe racks, according to engineered drawings
• Perform bolt-up, torquing and structural assembly to specification
• Perform rigging and signalling for crane lifts and safely guide loads into position
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and lift plans to support accurate installation
• Complete FLHAs and follow site safety procedures, including fall protection and permit requirements
• Operate and inspect tools, rigging equipment and access equipment
• Support material handling, site organisation and general crew activities
• Complete work safely and efficiently while meeting Ledcor’s standards for quality

Work Conditions

• Location: Fort Saskatchewan, AB
• Schedule: 10 days on / 4 days off
• Work will be performed in an active industrial construction environment
• Work may involve exposure to varying weather conditions, heights and physically demanding tasks
