You’ll be the technical anchor on projects, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with contractors, architects, and internal teams to deliver excellent work while creating a culture of support and growth.

In your first year at co-elevate, you will become a trusted technical leader- providing engineering oversight on projects, mentoring team members, and helping to strengthen our internal systems and standards. You’ll play a key role in raising the technical bar across the company while building strong relationships with clients and collaborators.
[ what we're looking for ]
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in the Province of Ontario
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in structural engineering
- Experience acting as Engineer of Record on a range of projects
- Skilled in the design of various structural systems and materials (steel, wood, masonry, concrete, etc.)
- Solid working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and relevant CSA Standards
- Proficient with structural analysis and design software (ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, RISA3D, etc.)
- Able to define clear goals, navigate complex challenges, and see projects through to completion
- A strong communicator who collaborates well with clients, contractors, and teammates
- A natural mentor who enjoys supporting junior engineers and strengthening the team
- Excited to work in-office in London, Kitchener, or St. Thomas- with flexibility when needed

- Experience leading teams or mentoring junior engineers in a formal capacity
- Experience with construction review or site coordination
- A passion for building relationships with clients and contributing to long-term partnerships

- Attend a stand-up meeting with your scrum team to discuss yesterday’s challenges and plan for the day’s tasks.
- Provide meaningful oversight and mentorship of less experienced staff by providing engineering guidance and reviewing calculation packages.
- A daily break for a game of Table Tennis or Foosball is always welcomed.
- Attend one of co-elevates group events such as potlucks, lunch & learns, book club, etc.
- Participate in one of co-elevates charity causes such as blood drives, toy drives, food drives, or seasonal in-house charity events.
- Conduct drawing review to ensure conformance to designs and seal drawings as needed.
- At the end of a long day, it is commonplace for our leadership to send staff members home to ensure work-life balance.
