Job summary

Ontario Transit Group (OTG) leads the design, build, and finance of the Ontario Line Southern Civil, Stations, and Tunnel in Toronto. The Construction Technical Office (CTO) Design Coordinator role acts as the primary liaison between Construction and Design teams, managing RFIs, changes, NCRs, and shop drawings to ensure alignment with project requirements and timely delivery.

You will collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to support safe, efficient execution, conduct site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer in Ontario or eligible within 6 months preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of professional design experience in building/civil infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate RFIs, FCRs, NCRs, and design changes during construction.
• Review shop drawings for compliance with specs and codes.
• Ensure interfaces between structural and architectural/mechanical/electrical systems are managed.
• Support design clarifications and produce accurate as-built documentation.
• Lead coordination meetings with multiple stakeholders to resolve design challenges.
