Role description:

As the Structural BIM Technician you will be develop and maintain 3D models of structures, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards. You will also collaborate with engineers and architects to create detailed drawings, and troubleshoot technical issues.

Role accountabilities:

  • Utilizes Revit to develop BIM models and prepare complex structural drawings from preliminary concepts, sketches and other data
  • Manages BIM model coordination with other disciplines using Navisworks/ACC
  • Proactively handles the workload to meet project task deadlines and commitments
  • Assists our Design Technology departments by maintaining company standards related to BIM workflow, management and drawing graphic standards
  • Prioritizes collaboration and communicates project deadlines and expectations regularly with the team
  • Assists the team and ensures compliance with external and internal BIM standards and guidelines
  • Demonstrates advanced abilities and knowledge in Revit. Knowledge of Autocad with MicroStation is an asset.
  • Ability to develop dynamo, Python and C # is an asset.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Must have 5 or more years of professional experience in Revit to document technical information for a variety of building projects
  • Possesses experience in delivering projects in accordance with BIM standards and relevant QA processes

The salary range for this position is $78,000 - $140,000. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
