EXPLEO GROUP CANADA in Mirabel, QC is seeking a Structural Assembler to join our aerospace manufacturing team. The role focuses on assembling and installing aircraft structural components according to engineering drawings, manufacturing instructions, and quality standards.

On-site in Mirabel with hands-on aerospace assembly experience preferred. The ideal candidate demonstrates autonomy, initiative, and teamwork, with strong technical skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an assembler in aerospace or related field (aircraft structural assembly) within last 5 years.
• Autonomy, initiative and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work from Instructions from the Methods Department via Assembly Workbooks and Visual Aids (VAs).
• Position components from PVA, Engineering Service drawings or other Materials provided by Methods Department.
• Drill within prescribed tolerances, apply sealants and install fasteners per engineering specs.
• Respect standard times and comply with current quality standards.
• Uphold health, safety and environmental standards; ensure compliance with standards and production rates.
• Other related functions as needed depending on experience and qualifications.

• Location: Mirabel, Quebec

• Work arrangement: On-site

• Compensation: CAD $31 to $36 per hour for employees, or CAD $39 to $45 per hour for subcontractors. The applicable compensation will be determined based on various criteria, including the candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications.

About the Role:

This role focuses on the assembly and installation of aircraft structural components in accordance with engineering drawings, manufacturing instructions, and quality standards. The ideal candidate has hands‑on aerospace assembly experience, strong technical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary production environment.

Responsibilities:

• Work from instructions provided by the Methods Department, in the form of "Assembly Workbooks" and Visual Aids (VAs).

• Use templates and position components from PVA, Engineering Service drawings, or any other materials provided by the Methods Department.

• Drill within prescribed tolerances, apply sealants, and install required fasteners in accordance with engineering specifications.

• Respect the standard times prescribed by the Methods Department and comply with the quality standards in force.

• Respect health, safety, and environmental standards.

• Ensure compliance with standards and production rates.

• Other related functions that may vary depending on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Assembler in the field of Aeronautics or a related field (such as aircraft structural assembly) obtained within the last 5 years.

• You demonstrate autonomy, initiative, and are able to work within a multidisciplinary team.

• You have good communication skills.
