Job summary

AAA-Canada is hiring aeronautical structure assemblers in the Mirabel region for a permanent full-time position. Start date: September 21, 2026. You will perform structural installation, alignment, and sub-assembly work on aircraft systems according to customer data and drawings.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, setting up tools, assembling metal/composite parts, and applying fasteners and sealants while ensuring quality and safety standards. Fluent French required.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a Structure Assembler in the aeronautics field.
  • Excellent blueprint reading skills.
  • Dexterity and precision in manual tasks.
  • Attention to detail in assembly and quality checks.
  • Mastery of the French language, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for structural installation, assembly, and sub-assemblies of aircraft systems, parts, and components within a project and/or assigned area.
  • Use technical data and instructions provided by the customer or aircraft manufacturer.
  • Use jigs and position components based on PVA, engineering drawings, or materials from methods.
  • Read and interpret blueprints or the manufacturing file.
  • Adapt work to different types of assembly: large / small components.
  • Set up and operate manual or automated machines and tools according to the work to be performed.
  • Assemble metal and/or composite parts according to the technical specifications provided by the customer.
  • Install fasteners; drill holes; select appropriate bolts, rivets, screws, or accessories.
  • Ensure correct products for assembly (sealants, bonding, corrosion protection, paint).
  • Ensure compliance of assemblies with manufacturing files and quality standards.
  • Inspect and verify installed units, parts, and equipment for performance and compliance.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards; report anomalies.

  • Read and interpret blueprints or the manufacturing file.
  • Adapt work to different types of assembly: large / small components.

  • Assemble metal and/or composite parts according to the technical specifications provided by the customer:
  • Install necessary fasteners; drill holes; ensure the right products are used for assembly (bolts, hardened or mechanical rivets, screws, or accessories to secure, support, or suspend components and sub-assemblies).
  • Ensure the use of the right products for assembly (sealants, bonding, corrosion, paint).
  • Ensure compliance of assemblies with respect to the manufacturing file.
  • Inspect and verify installed units, parts, and equipment to ensure their suitability, performance, and compliance with standards defined in technical documentation.
  • Comply with quality standards and production rates.
  • Comply with health, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Report any anomaly or irregularity.
Skills and Qualifications
  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a Structure Assembler in the aeronautics field.
  • You possess at least a DEP in aerospace structural assembly or equivalent.
  • You have excellent blueprint reading skills.
  • You demonstrate dexterity.
  • You have a quick mind and a developed attention to detail.
  • Mastery of the French language orally and in writing.
