Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• Undergraduate degree in Nursing is an asset.
• Nursing experience with elderly population is desirable.
• Knowledge of gerontological nursing and nursing theory.
• Ability to communicate effectively while protecting privacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient/client and family-centered nursing care and advocacy.
• Collaborate with the interprofessional team to plan and implement care.
• Document changes and concerns in a timely, concise manner.
