Strings and Orchestra Teacher: Long Term Substitute Manlius Pebble Hill School (MPH) seeks an experienced and passionate Strings and Orchestra Teacher to join our faculty from October 2026 to February 2027. Working with eager students and supportive families, MPH teachers have the freedom to shape their curriculum to meet students’ strengths and needs. This temporary, full-time, long-term substitute position offers compensation of $23,500 - $24,500 for the term. Primary Job Responsibilities

• Instruction: Teach Lower School (Grades 1-5) Strings Lessons and Orchestra, Middle School Orchestra (Grades 6-8), and Upper School Concert Orchestra (Grades 9-12).
• Advising: Act as an advisor to a small group of Upper School students to oversee and support their academic, social, and emotional development.
• Curriculum Facilitation: Utilize an appropriate curriculum to guide and develop strings curriculum implementation tailored to students’ strengths and needs.
• Extracurricular Activities: Preparing and chaperoning students to local and state music festivals, including some evenings and weekends, and leading students in seasonal evening performances on campus.
• Community Engagement: Collaborate with students, families, and colleagues to promote and sustain a robust strings and orchestral program.
