Makita Canada Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead the Warehouse Team Leaders and Material Handlers, developing action plans to support business goals and oversee all warehouse activities to maximize productivity.

The role requires a Diploma in Logistics or related field, at least five years of supervisory experience in a warehouse, fluent English communication, and proficiency with MS-Office and AS400. Salary ranges from CAD 72,000 to CAD 85,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or relevant field.
• Minimum five (5) years of Supervisory experience, preferably in a warehouse.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication (oral and written).
• Proficiency with MS-Office and AS400.

Responsibilities

• Hire, lead and develop warehouse staff.
• Assess staff activities and provide regular performance-related feedback.
• Conduct employee performance reviews with the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Track productivity daily to meet and exceed budget targets.
• Develop and monitor KPIs for warehouse operations.
• Oversee inbound container schedule, plan receiving, and allocate workforce accordingly.
• Schedule weekly manpower requirements based on projected volumes and optimize space and efficiency.
• Organize cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and adjust as needed.
• Maintain records, report information, and prepare necessary documentation.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment in compliance with regulations and company standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet company objectives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
