Job summary

Canada Cartage is seeking a Warehouse Team Lead to drive safety, efficiency, quality, and customer service across receiving, warehousing, and shipping. You will guide the team according to operating plans while ensuring cost objectives are met.

Shift coverage includes Morning/Evening; you will train staff, optimize storage, monitor productivity, and maintain inventory accuracy to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1 year of Lead Hand experience.
• Up to 5 years of experience in a warehouse setting.
• High school diploma.
• Knowledge of warehouse best practices and safety.
• Experience with inventory control and RF devices.

Responsibilities

• Meet customer service expectations
• Train and monitor employees including performance, conduct, and work quality
• Ensure the warehouse space is used efficiently and make changes to storage profile as needed
• Ensure productivity expectations are met
• Ensure inventory accuracy through staff training
• Process receipts and orders in the WMS in the absence of CSR/Supervisor
• Communicate unforeseen warehouse events impacting service to the CSR and customer
