Job summary

McAsphalt Industries Limited, a leading Canadian asphalt products and services supplier, seeks a Manager, Supply Chain & Procurement to drive enterprise-wide sourcing and procurement strategies. You will oversee indirect spend, production consumables, capital assets, and key services, ensuring continuity of supply and risk mitigation.

Reporting to the Vice President, Finance, you will lead supplier negotiations, contract governance, and category management while partnering with Operations,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Professional procurement designation (SCMP, CPSM, CPSD, or equivalent) considered an asset.
• MBA or related graduate degree considered an asset.
• Minimum 7-10 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain management, or category management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute category management and procurement strategies aligned with business objectives and operational requirements.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives for indirect spend categories across facilities, fleet, MRO, professional services, utilities, safety, tech and services.
• Negotiate national, regional and site-specific agreements to maximize value and support local needs.
• Establish supplier performance programs including scorecards and quarterly business reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement aligns with operations and finance.
