Job summary

Loblaw Companies Limited in Canada is seeking an Analyst, Supply Chain Replenishment - Demand to manage regional demand forecasts and support optimal forecast accuracy and inventory availability. You will identify and resolve forecasting issues, collaborating with internal stakeholders and vendors to enhance performance at store, regional, and banner levels.

The role involves analyzing forecasts with LDE/IPFR, monitoring exceptions, and supporting continuous improvement in forecasting processes

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation skills; engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Self-motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and respond to changing business requirements.
• Experience with SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and maintain demand forecasts using BY Luminate Demand Edge (LDE) and IPFR to ensure forecast accuracy.
• Monitor forecasting exceptions and trends, making adjustments to improve performance.
• Review weekly reports to identify forecasting issues and minimize impacts on regional forecasts.
• Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams on forecasting challenges and improvements.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system, business, and process-related inquiries related to demand forecasting.
• Provide insights based on forecast performance, trends, and inventory requirements.
• Support replenishment planning to ensure product availability and distribution efficiency.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for forecasting processes and reporting.
• Complete ad hoc analysis, reporting, and special projects.
