Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to support Canada-wide purchasing and logistics from multiple Canadian locations. You will evaluate tenders, source goods, coordinate with project teams and finance, and optimize supply chains to ensure timely delivery to Convergint Technology Centre warehouses.

The role emphasizes documentation, vendor relationships, and cost-effective procurement while maintaining safety, compliance, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Business Administration or Purchasing preferred.
• SCMP designation is an asset.
• 2–4 years of purchasing/buyer experience preferred.
• Experience with freight forwarding and logistics preferred.
• Strong Excel/Outlook/Word skills and financial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Invite, assess, and award supplier tenders, bids, quotations, and proposals.
• Purchase goods and services at optimal cost and within authority.
• Coordinate with project managers, service coordinators, and finance to gather data.
• Manage shipments, freight, and logistics across Canada.
• Develop relationships with vendors and customers to ensure supply chain efficiency.
