ABOUT OUR OPERATION

The Support and Development Center provides services to Agnico Eagle's various Canadian and/or international mining operations in areas such as administration, financial services, IT, supply chain, human resources, communications, construction, and technical services (geology, engineering, metallurgy, infrastructure, marketing, innovation, and digital transformation).

YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to a Director of Strategic Procurement, you will be part of the Supply Chain department. Your role involves managing department documents, the supplier prequalification process, and supporting personnel through organization and communication tasks, ensuring efficient office operation while adhering to Agnico Eagle's values, health and safety standards, and environmental standards.

  • Ensure compliance with document control and archiving procedures
  • Manage information flow related to calls for tenders and supplier prequalification
  • Manage the supplier prequalification process
  • Follow up with contractors for WSCC and insurance certificate compliance
  • Control documentation such as RFP/Contract templates, policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines
  • Prepare internal and external communications according to Agnico Eagle standards
  • Document and reconcile credit card transactions made by Buyers
  • Manage the contract management module in JDE
  • Manage FLEX RFP templates in Esourcing application
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
  • 1-2 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, Document Control, or relevant experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college diploma or university degree in administration preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in SharePoint
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills
  • Professionalism
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Discretion and judgment
  • Flexibility
  • Fluent in English and French (oral and written); passing the SPEEXX English assessment required
Your Work Schedule
  • Schedule: 40 hours/week, on a 5/2 – 4/3 schedule. Remote work possible per current policy.
  • Workplace: Val-d'Or office.
