Job summary

Brandt Corporate Services Ltd is seeking a Sales manager – Material Handling for our Greater Montreal location. This role reports to the VP of Operations, Material Handling, East Region, and drives sales growth and profitability of wholegoods, used equipment and rental.

You will lead the Sales Department, build partnerships, oversee budgets, and collaborate with Marketing to raise product and brand awareness, while traveling up to 50% to meet customers and close deals.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ direct work experience in sales management.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers.
• Confidence in decision making regarding financial transactions, sales strategy, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Travel up to 50% of the time is required.
• Experience in the Material Handling industry is an asset.
• Bachelor’s degree is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Achieve asset management goals of turn and aging as well as protection of company assets.
• Establish sales budgets to maximize Gross Margin.
• Provide for the right mix of inventory to achieve sales and market share goals.
• Management and development of all employees in the Sales Department.
• Establish strong relationships/partnerships alongside the Sales team.
• Manage and conduct scheduled team sales meetings.
• Work with Marketing team to promote and aid in product and brand awareness.
• Prepare technical and commercial presentations and proposals for customers.
• Work with Parts and Service teams to support customers.
• Plan and represent Brandt at industry trade shows.
