Job summary

Give & Go Prepared Foods Corp. in Etobicoke, Ontario, is seeking a Corporate Quality Training and Communication Lead.

The role leads the development and facilitation of quality training and internal communications across the network to ensure compliance with GFSI and regulatory requirements. You will create training content, manage LMS delivery, and partner with Learning & Development to standardize training across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Communication, Training or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in quality, communication, training or related field.
• Highly effective communication skills, able to communicate clearly, and actively listen to others.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
• Ability to design and implement effective training and development materials and training paths.
• Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio/video scripts.

Responsibilities

• Create, organize, plan and present various forms of orientation, onboarding, refresher, and skills training for all Give & Go Employees
• Training will cover the following: G&G Quality Systems, GFSI Requirements, Regulatory Requirements, Customer Requirements
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop engaging training content that is tailored to the immediate audience
• Present training and development programs using various forms and formats including group discussion, interactive simulations, and videos
• Create training manuals, guides and course materials
• Deliver and maintain training using LMS
• Partner with Learning & Development to align on training standards, templates and scheduling
• Support Corporate Quality in the development, management and implementation of internal communication initiatives and programs
• Maintain the Quality Department Section of the Corporate Training Matrix
• Maintain records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments as well as retraining requirements according to G&G training guidelines, including uploading records to the Learning Management Systems
• Run training reports and provide data insights related to completion and other defined training metrics
• Ensure all sites are prepared for GFSI, Regulatory and Customer audits
• Provide support to Site QA Teams during audits and regulatory visits
