Job summary

Give & Go Prepared Foods Corp. is seeking a Quality Assurance Compliance Lead on a 10 months contract in Brampton, ON. You will own site quality programs, serve as SQF Practitioner, and lead audits and CAPA processes to ensure compliance with FDA/CFIA and GFSI standards.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in QA or related field with 3+ years of QA experience, strong GMP knowledge, and proven ability to train teams and collaborate cross-functionally to maintain top audit scores.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality Assurance, Food Science, Biology, Engineering, Microbiology, Operations Management or related field
• 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance
• Technical knowledge of quality and food safety and GMP
• Technical knowledge of Food Manufacturing processes, Sanitation and Microbiology
• Experience interacting with regulatory agencies (e.g., CFIA, FDA)
• Experience submitting and implementing corrective/preventive actions
• Proficient with Office 365 suite and common tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
• Strong knowledge of GFSI, HACCP, Preventive Controls and Quality Systems
• Statistical processes and problem-solving techniques

Responsibilities

• Owner of all Compliance Programs including planning, implementing, executing, and maintaining all aspects with a continuous improvement mindset
• Implementation of corporate policies at site level
• Serve as SQF Practitioner
• Ensure sites are prepared for Internal, MDLZ, GFSI, Regulatory and Customer audits
• Lead quality audits and regulatory visits at site
• Lead CAPA forNCs identified during audits and visits
• Ensure compliance with FDA/CFIA food laws
• Develop and deploy training on Food Safety & Quality Management per GFSI requirements
• Provide training for food security team and operators monitoring critical points
