TJX Canada is seeking a Purchasing Specialist on a 12‑ month contract to support store operations and purchasing initiatives across the business. You will analyze data, manage vendor relationships, and help identify cost‑saving opportunities to keep stores well supplied and operating efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Retail or Business Management.
• Minimum two years of related retail operations finance and purchasing experience.
• Experience in project management and cross‑functional collaboration.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develops plans and assists with managing budgets for Store Operations supply vendors and reconciliation of invoices to budgets.
• Oversees invoicing issues including price adjustments and reconciliation with internal teams and vendors.
• Maintains supply catalogues and knowledge base; ensures field has up‑to‑date supply information in Oracle.
• Monitors inventory levels, vendor performance, and exception reports to ensure TJX objectives and service levels.
