Job summary

Holland Imports Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Planner & Inventory Analyst to manage inventory planning, forecasting, and overseas purchasing with Asia-based vendors.

You will optimize stock levels, maintain ERP parameters, and coordinate with logistics to ensure timely releases and accurate landed costs. The role requires 3–5 years in purchasing or inventory planning within distribution or retail, with strong negotiation and data-driven analysis.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, inventory planning, or supply chain in distribution, wholesale, or retail.
• Experience with overseas purchasing and supplier communications in Asia.
• Familiarity with FOB terms, container load optimization, lead times, and Asian supply chains.
• Experience purchasing Hand Tools, Power Tool Accessories, or Work Lights is a plus.
• Proficiency with ERP systems; NetSuite is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop demand forecasts from sales history and seasonal trends to optimize inventory.
• Set purchasing parameters in ERP (lead times, safety stock, min/max, order points).
• Monitor inventory turns and manage slow-moving stock and rebalancing.
• Place and manage POs with domestic and overseas vendors, primarily Asia.
• Track production, pre-shipment inspections, shipping milestones, and customs clearance.
• Coordinate with logistics for inbound freight and sample shipments.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales to communicate lead times and backorders.
