Job summary

Sekisui Diagnostics PEI seeks an Associate Buyer/Planner to plan, procure and expedite inventory for production, coordinating with Manufacturing and internal teams to maintain material availability. You will evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, and support cost-saving initiatives while resolving supply issues.

The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary degree or diploma and three years of planning/buying experience, plus strong communication, math, and Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field.
• At least three years of planning or buying experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent math skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, procure and expedite inventory materials to meet production needs.
• Monitor inventory levels, sourcing lead times and forecasts with internal teams.
• Evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms.
• Support cost savings initiatives and resolve material availability issues.
