About the Future Skills Centre – Centre des Compétences futures (FSC-CCF)
The Future Skills Centre – Centre des Compétences futures (FSC-CCF) is a forward-thinking centre for research and collaboration dedicated to driving innovation in skills development so that everyone in Canada can be prepared for the future of work. We partner with policymakers, researchers, practitioners, employers and labour, and post-secondary institutions to solve pressing labour market challenges and ensure that everyone can benefit from relevant lifelong learning opportunities.
We are founded by a consortium whose members are Toronto Metropolitan University, Blueprint, and The Conference Board of Canada, and are funded by the Government of Canada's Future Skills Program.
The Centre’s work focuses on solutions to help address the needs of equity-deserving groups, particularly those who are underserved, including women, youth, Indigenous people, newcomers, racialized people, people with disabilities, veterans, and people from rural, remote and Northern communities.
The Opportunity
As a key member of the FSC Programs team, the Strategic Project Analyst (SPA) will help manage the implementation of a broad portfolio of projects funded through FSC’s various funding programs. As a member of the Programs team, the Analyst will work, along with other teams, to manage FSC’s relationship with its funded partners. This includes communicating with partners and helping to troubleshoot implementation issues. The Analyst will also help to review and analyze proposals and work plans, check on project milestones and deliverables, track project data, and conduct portfolio data analysis. The Analyst will also create, review and maintain reports for internal stakeholders, funders, and consortium partners regarding FSC’s project portfolio and its thematic priorities (Focus Areas).
