Akkodis is seeking a Project Analyst (HR) for a contract position with a client in North York (Hybrid), and ideally looking for experience with project analysis, business process improvement. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly grasp complex systems. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, MS Project) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI). Experience with process mapping and improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.

Location: North York, ON (1755 Steeles Ave W North York ON M2R 3T4 Canada)

Contract

Description:

  • Oversee projects and maximize project resources. Lead efforts to analyze current project operations and make recommendations for improvements. Coordinate the decision-making process.
  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Facilitate information flow between team members, senior management, and the client.
  • Work on problems of moderate to diverse scope where analysis of the situation or data requires review of identifiable factors.
  • Review status of projects and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
  • Assess project issues and participate in the development of resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  • Monitor project progress for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
  • Work under only very general supervision.
  • Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.
  • Contribute to the completion of organizational projects and goals.
  • Errors in judgment or failure to achieve results would normally require a moderate expenditure of resources to rectify.
  • Frequent internal company and external contacts.
  • Represent the organization on specific projects.

Reporting to the Rewards & Performance (R&P) Centre of Excellence (COE) Lead for Canada, the Rewards and Performance Project Analyst will play a key role in driving initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and organizational effectiveness.

This role involves close collaboration with People Excellence Partners (PEP) and external vendors to deliver high-impact, employee-centered projects, particularly in the areas of health and welfare benefits. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, HR, or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in project analysis, business process improvement, or a similar role. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to quickly grasp complex systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, MS Project) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
  • Experience with process mapping and improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
