Job description

This is an interview position.

Performs engineering assignments focused on optimizing planning and execution within Operations. Applies established or modified engineering methods or techniques where possible while focused on increasing the ability to introduce new products and services efficiently, thereby providing a competitive value proposition. Contributes to and supports the development and implementation of new technologies.

Required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering or related quantitative discipline.
  • Professional Engineering designation preferred.
  • Two (2) years of engineering-related experience.
  • Knowledge of FedEx operation procedures and practices.
  • Knowledge of Lean principles and Six Sigma preferred.
  • Knowledge of Project Management principles preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Travel may be required within the geographical area.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Note: Position working arrangement is REMOTE and available anywhere within Canada.
