Job summary

Ciena Corporation seeks a seasoned Product Lifecycle Manager to align customer and market insight with decisive business execution for Broadband FTTx and DCOM products. You will formulating strategies, guiding pricing and positioning, and tracking performance while owning end-to-end lifecycle decisions.

You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, and executive leadership to deliver measurable customer and business outcomes, including revenue growth and product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business, or a related field; an advanced technical degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in Product Lifecycle Management roles for telecom, datacom, or networking equipment vendors.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and deliver results through influence across engineering, commercial, operational, and customer-facing teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain product business cases connecting pricing strategy, margin, revenue opportunities, cost structure, and profitability objectives.
• Formulate strategies for scaling profitable products and managing graceful retirements with direct accounts and customers.
• Coordinate with R&D, design, procurement, QA, and sales to align product data, roadmaps, and timelines.
