Liebherr Canada Ltd. is seeking a Buyer to manage supplier relationships, optimize procurement, and ensure timely delivery of materials across Canada.

You will drive value through efficient sourcing, contract management, and data-driven decision making. Responsibilities include planning, negotiations, contract oversight, and cross-functional collaboration with shop, warehouse, and finance to minimize risks and maximize cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in procurement or buying, preferably in heavy equipment or manufacturing.
• Experience managing supplier relationships in a complex environment.
• Fluent in French and English with strong written/verbal skills.
• Strong data analysis and reporting capabilities.
• Negotiation skills to maximize value and control costs.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Analyze demand forecasts and inventory to create effective purchase plans.
• Draft, review and manage supplier contracts and renewals.
• Execute and monitor purchase orders, track deliveries and quality.
• Identify process improvements to save costs and improve service quality
• Prepare regular procurement reports, supplier performance, KPIs.
• Collaborate with shop, warehouse, and finance to align procurement with needs.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks; develop contingency plans.
