Liebherr-Canada Ltd. in Burlington, ON seeks a Financial Controller to lead financial reporting, planning, and compliance across Canada. You will head a team of 3 Senior Financial Analysts and oversee IFRS group reporting, tax compliance, and internal controls.

The role requires CPA designation with IFRS expertise, strong Excel skills, and experience with Power BI and SAP. Hybrid work options may be available.

Qualifications

• CPA designation and IFRS experience required.
• 5–10 years of leadership in a complex financial reporting environment.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power BI and SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and IFRS group reporting across Canada.
• Approve journal entries and reconcile accounts; coordinate annual audits.
• Oversee tax compliance, including sales tax and transfer pricing.
• Mentor a team of 3 Senior Financial Analysts and develop talent.
• Manage internal controls and 200+ controls; drive process improvements.
• Support KPI tracking and Power BI dashboards.
• Lead capital budgeting and long-term financial planning.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to align operations with financial strategy.
