Job summary

Maxxit Systems Inc. seeks an experienced permanent full-time Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing, purchasing and supplier management for a metal fabrication business.

You will secure raw materials and services, manage supplier performance, and drive cost reductions while ensuring quality and delivery. The role is on-site in Toronto, requiring deep knowledge of metals and industrial supply chains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
• 10–15+ years in progressive procurement / strategic sourcing in manufacturing.
• 5–7+ years in a procurement leadership role in mid-size to large manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and metal fabrication procurement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with growth, margins and goals.
• Lead sourcing across direct materials, subcontracted services, capital equipment, indirect spend.
• Establish scalable procurement processes, policies and controls in a manufacturing environment.
• Drive procurement transformation, supplier rationalization, and automation.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and service levels to ensure cost competitiveness.
