Fluor Canada is seeking an experienced Mechanical Lead to provide technical leadership on assigned projects and drive cost-effective mechanical solutions. You will develop equipment data sheets, review design criteria, and support procurement, permits, and subcontracting activities.

Responsibilities include leading teams, checking vendor documentation, and enabling on-site fabrication, testing, and startup. Strong knowledge of codes, standards, and field execution is essential.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree in engineering with six years of work experience.
• Professional registration and membership in technical society preferred.
• Ability to communicate with management, coworkers, clients, vendors and visitors.
• Advanced knowledge of codes, standards and material costs.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering on assigned projects.
• Develop and review equipment data sheets and design criteria.
• Participate in procurement, permitting and subcontracting activities.
• Assign work to teams and monitor performance.
• Review vendor documents for compliance and resolve discrepancies.
