Job summary

Orium is seeking a Practice Lead, Payments & Financial Infrastructure to own the Stripe go-to-market and build a repeatable payments practice across our Commerce platform. You will lead executive workshops with Stripe, shape business cases, and work with sales to win deals, bringing hands-on payments expertise to client conversations.

Based in Canada with a remote-first setup, you will collaborate with sales, delivery, and Stripe teams, travel up to 25% for workshops, and help scale offerings

Qualifications

• 5+ years in the payments industry (processor, acquirer, fintech, or consultancy).
• Go-to-market with partners/clients on pursuits or co-sell motions.
• Experience building ROI models or business cases for finance review.
• Comfort reading merchant numbers and explaining impact on margin and conversion.
• Hands-on Stripe experience (Payments, Connect, Billing) or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Build and run the Stripe go-to-market plan with Stripe’s partner and sales teams.
• Package offerings with Stripe: payments migration, Checkout upgrades, Connect, Billing, agentic commerce.
• Lead executive workshops and turn them into roadmaps and signed SOWs.
• Provide billable expert guidance on Stripe implementations with delivery teams.
