Strategic Partners Department Supervisor

The Strategic Partners Supervisor is the on-the-floor commander of the Dealers Den or Artist Alley during the event. They oversee all on-site operations within the vendor hall, from managing the complex load-in and load-out process to resolving any issues that arise for vendors during the weekend. They are a visible, proactive leader, ensuring the hall is a safe, fair, and successful marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

Directly manage the entire vendor load-in and load-out process, ensuring it is safe, orderly, and efficient.

Oversee and support the teams providing on-site support to all dealers and artists.

Serve as the first point of escalation for any vendor issues, such as table disputes, rule clarifications, or logistical problems.

Routinely patrol the vendor hall to ensure compliance with all policies and provide proactive support.

Train team members in providing excellent customer service to our valued partners.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Supervisory Experience : Experience leading teams in a logistics-heavy or customer-facing environment.

Problem-Solving : Ability to quickly and calmly resolve disputes and logistical challenges.

Assertiveness & Diplomacy : Can enforce rules fairly and professionally while maintaining positive relationships.

Operational Awareness : A keen eye for logistics, crowd flow, and potential issues on a large event floor.

Beneficial Skills

Experience as a floor manager for a retail store or trade show.

Knowledge of event logistics and freight handling.
