Furever Pawradise in Toronto is seeking an Event Ops Team Leader to guide a small crew in setting up rooms, managing lines for events, and coordinating room changes on tight schedules.
You will ensure safety, efficiency, and smooth event progression by giving clear instructions, monitoring progress, and addressing issues with the Supervisor. This nonprofit organization emphasizes community, inclusion, and charitable impact.
The Event Ops Team Leader guides a small crew to accomplish a specific, tangible goal. They are the sergeants of the show floor, leading teams in setting up rooms, managing lines for popular events, executing a room changeover on a tight schedule, or assisting with main stage operations. They ensure their team works safely, efficiently, and effectively to keep the event moving.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and motivate a small team to complete tasks like room setup, equipment placement, or line control.
Provide clear, step‑by‑step instructions to ensure tasks are completed correctly and safely.
Communicate progress and any issues (e.g., missing equipment, safety concerns) to the Supervisor.
Ensure the team adheres to all safety procedures, such as proper lifting techniques.
Keep team morale high during physically demanding or repetitive tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
