Ventana Special Projects in Canada is seeking an Operations Manager to connect strategic direction with field execution. You will oversee multi-million-dollar project delivery, balancing financial performance, risk, client satisfaction, and operational excellence.

Working with the General Superintendent and President, you will mentor Project Managers, support estimation, and pursue new business opportunities while maintaining relationships with clients, consultants, trade partners, and industry

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of operations management experience, ideally with a general contractor.
• Post-secondary education in construction; asset for role.
• Strong capability in financial reporting and cost control.
• Executive-level written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish operational standards and drive continuous improvement across project teams.
• Oversee project controls, financial reporting, and field execution; refine Operations Manual.
• Partner with the President on business development and industry relations.
• Review contracts, manage risks, and support successful project outcomes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers, Coordinators, and Administrators.
