Job summary

TELUS Health is seeking an Occupational Health and Safety Consultant to advise clients in the Health and Safety Excellence program. You’ll lead virtual consults, develop resources, and guide program implementation to improve workplace safety.

You have 2–5 years of OHS experience, solid knowledge of Ontario OHSA, and strong communication skills to prepare reports, policies, and trainings while building long-term client relationships.

Qualifications

• Certificate, continuing education, or university diploma in OHS or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in occupational health and safety.
• Strong knowledge of Ontario OHSA and related laws.
• Familiarity with the WSIB Health and Safety Excellence program.
• Independent action in complex OHS cases or situations.
• Experience in hazard assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action plans.
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) including reports and training materials.
• Proficient with MS Office and health and safety software.
• Highly developed organizational skills and multi-priority management.
• Experience delivering workplace health and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor on elevating OHS culture and practices.
• Lead virtual consultations and webinars for the Health and Safety Excellence program.
• Evaluate client-submitted documentation to meet program requirements.
• Design innovative learning resources and practical tools to support client success.
