Omega Tool Corp is seeking a dedicated MRO Buyer to support Canadian manufacturing operations with procurement of production materials, MRO supplies, equipment and services. The role collaborates with Department Managers to maintain cost, quality and delivery while adhering to ISO/IATF quality programs.

Full-time daytime position with comprehensive benefits, pension, and potential signing bonus. The incumbent will ensure material availability, supplier performance, and regulatory compliance

Qualifications

• Experience using ERP and MS Office in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong oral and written communication skills to identify issues and coordinate with teams.
• Ability to supervise and take responsibility for others' work.

Responsabilités

• Purchases production materials, components, MRO supplies, and services to support Canadian operations.
• Monitor material requirements and supplier lead times to ensure availability for scheduled production.
• Obtain quotations and negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and payment conditions.
• Review BOMs and supplier pricing for pricing discrepancies and cost-saving opportunities.
• Issue and maintain purchase orders and expeditites to ensure on-time delivery.
• Attend weekly Production Review meetings and report on material availability and supplier issues.
• Coordinate with departments to support purchasing requirements and regulatory compliance.
• Cross-train with other buyers/logistics and provide coverage during vacations or peak periods.
