Job summary

Autodesk Montreal is seeking a Manager, Meetings Operations to lead the Strategic Meeting Management Program. You will guide the meetings solutions coordinator, set goals, and drive analytics-driven improvements across technology platforms and processes.

You will develop training, ensure stakeholder adoption, and manage vendor relationships, including contracts and payments. This role reports to the Strategic Meetings organization and requires 7+ years in meetings/hospitality contexts.

• 7+ years of meetings or hotel industry experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Resourceful team player with the ability to solve problems and issues independently.
• Knowledge of industry trends and able to apply this information to the role.
• Demonstrates keen attention to detail under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Drive the overall strategy for the department’s technology, data and analytic needs.
• Assess Meetings Team’s current technology capabilities and implement changes to meet requirements.
• Develop and conduct training for all stakeholders across technology platforms.
• Ensure stakeholders adopt solutions and incorporate user feedback to improve processes.
• Implement new solutions and releases for existing solutions.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices related to meetings and events.
• Manage supplier relationships with monthly calls and annual reviews with technology providers.
• Ensure MSAs, SOWs and POs are in place and invoices are paid within the year.
• Manage technology solutions including configuration, user accounts, updates and change management.
• Manage data warehouse and create dashboards for senior management.
• Provide data quality audits and analytical insights to management.
• Provide ad-hoc sourcing and planning services for meetings and events.
• Oversee payments (pcard), hotel points and commission reconciliation; ensure commissions are collected and returned to Autodesk.
• Assist the sourcing team with projects and premiere program sourcing as assigned.
