Job summary

Flanagan Foodservice Inc. seeks a Logistics Coordinator to execute daily inbound and outbound route planning with a focus on accuracy, on-time delivery performance, equipment utilization and cost effectiveness. Includes concise reporting on daily tasks and adherence to safety standards.

You will review routing, coordinate with internal teams, and make real-time decisions to optimize routes and service levels while supporting company performance goals.

Qualifications

• Experience in Transportation/Logistics preferred; foodservice is a plus.
• Advanced computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Strong written, verbal and organizational skills.
• Experience utilizing route planning tools: PeopleNET, RoadNET.
• College Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Professional communication with internal and external clients.
• Team-oriented with initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule; 10-hour shifts and weekend coverage; Sunday-Thursday 12:00–20:30 with rotational Fri/Sat.
• OT eligibility after 44 hours.

Responsibilities

• Routing plans for inbound/outbound route network.
• Review new customer addition or change requests to the delivery network and advise sales.
• Perform daily route maintenance with history review and adjustments.
• Provide recommendations and real-time independent decision making.
• Standard route maintenance and resource allocation decisions.
• Balance labor, fuel, and equipment spend across the network.
• Maintain relationships with supply chain, warehousing, sales, drivers and customers.
• Ensure health & safety, food safety and QA training is up to date.
• OT eligible after 44 hours; follow safe work procedures.
