Job summary

ERM, the global sustainability leader, seeks a Principal Consultant, Capital Project Delivery, to guide major capital projects across Canada. You will provide technical and strategic leadership, oversee multidisciplinary teams, and drive responsible development from planning through mine closure and transition planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, science, economics, social science, public policy, or a related discipline.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in Canada with resource development or related stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in mine closure planning and environmental permitting processes.
• Strong writing, presentation, and stakeholder facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and/or support complex resource development projects from planning through mine closure and transition planning.
• Deliver technical reports, senior-level reviews, and strategic recommendations for clients.
• Provide expertise in stakeholder and Indigenous engagement and social impact assessment.
• Develop stakeholder engagement plans and coordinate outreach activities.
• Mentor junior staff and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Canada and globally.
• Ensure project scope, budget, schedule, and quality meet client expectations.
