ERM, an Ontario-based firm, seeks a Principal Consultant, Impact Assessment to guide clients’ major capital projects through regulatory and permitting journeys from planning to approvals. You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams, advise executives, and help de-risk schedules across mining, energy, renewables, and infrastructure in Ontario, Québec, and Eastern Canada.

You will work with ERM Partners and a diverse technical team to translate complex regulations into clear roadmaps, support investment

Qualifications

• Experience advising executives on regulatory pathways and approvals.
• Strong track record leading multidisciplinary teams on complex projects.
• Deep knowledge of Ontario/Québec impact assessment and permitting frameworks.

Responsabilités

• Lead Regulatory Strategy for Major Capital Projects and align with client objectives.
• Advise senior decision-makers on pathways, risks, and schedules.
• Oversee impact assessment applications and permitting programs across regimes (Ontario/Québec).
• Direct integrated teams to deliver regulator-ready submissions on time and budget.
• Contribute to account growth through proposals, scope definition, and pricing.
• Strengthen ERM's market position in Canada through leadership and client service.
