Enercare in Markham, Ontario seeks an Internal Communications & Events Specialist to execute communications and deliver high-impact corporate events. This maternity-cover role supports strategy and culture, connecting employees to Enercare's priorities and purpose.

Reporting to the Director of Internal Communications, you will craft content, lead event delivery and optimize channels. Strong writing, storytelling and project management are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• 3-5 years of experience planning and delivering impactful corporate events.
• 3-5 years of experience developing and executing internal communications programs.
• Excellent writing, editing and verbal communication skills.
• Strong storytelling skills and the ability to turn business priorities into engaging content.
• Experience advising senior leaders and handling sensitive matters with discretion.
• Detail-oriented project, time and vendor management skills.
• Proactive, collaborative approach and ability to work independently in a changing environment.
• Adept at Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Copilot, Canva, VEED, and digital/social media tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field preferred.

• Lead company-wide communications to inform employees and build engagement.
• Develop and deliver corporate events aligned with business priorities and outcomes.
• Manage event communications: invitations, videos, scripts, presentations and surveys.
• Advise senior leaders on key decisions, organizational changes and complex programs.
• Translate business priorities into clear, measurable employee communications.
• Partner with HR and Marketing to activate the employer brand across social and digital channels.
• Maintain a consistent brand voice across all communications and events.
• Monitor trends, measure outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement.
