Job summary

SAIT’s Advancement department seeks an Industry Engagement Officer to build strategic partnerships with industry associations, corporations, and partners. You will identify, cultivate, and steward opportunities that align with SAIT’s priorities and drive impact across the institution.

Working through a OneSAIT approach, you will connect opportunities with academic schools and research centres, engaging with industry leaders and cross-functional teams to maximize partnership success.

Qualifications

• Requires minimum diploma in business/public relations or related field.
• Bachelor's degree preferred for advanced standing.
• 3–5 years of experience in industry engagement, business development, partnerships, or related roles.
• 1–2 years in a post-secondary environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and grow partnerships with industry associations, corporations, and stakeholders aligned with SAIT’s priorities.
• Identify, cultivate, and steward partnerships to drive impact across the institution.
• Engage with industry leaders, cross-functional teams, and use CRM tools to inform strategy and maximize success.
• Collaborate with schools, research centres, and departments to develop integrated solutions.
