SAIT’s Advancement department seeks an Alumni Engagement Officer to design and deliver innovative programming that celebrates alumni, supports students and strengthens campus connections. You’ll lead projects across events, storytelling and partnerships, collaborating with multiple SAIT teams and external partners to elevate alumni engagement.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Event Management or Public Relations.
• 5-7 years in program development and delivery.
• 2-3 years in post-secondary alumni relations, community engagement or communications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and enhance student and alumni engagement programs aligned with SAIT priorities.
• Manage a portfolio of core alumni programs and launch new engagement opportunities.
• Partner with schools, departments and campus partners to create impactful alumni experiences.
• Collaborate with Advancement Communications to promote programs, events and initiatives.
• Coordinate with fundraising, donor relations and sponsorship teams for engagements and recognition.
• Build strong relationships with alumni, students, donors and community partners for networking and mentorship.
• Track and evaluate engagement metrics and use insights to improve programming.
• Support planning and execution of events for students, alumni, donors and institutions.
• Coordinate event logistics, registrations, budgets, timelines and partner engagement.
• Prepare event materials including briefs, speaking notes and scripts.
