Job summary

The University of British Columbia in Vancouver is seeking an iCON Program Manager to provide strategic leadership for a complex, multi-project portfolio within Digital Emergency Medicine. You will drive community engagement, research design, budgets, staffing, reporting, and stakeholder communications across internal and external partners.

Minimum qualifications include a post-graduate degree with 4+ years of related experience, or a bachelor’s with 6+ years.

Qualifications

For research work, a post-graduate degree or equivalent professional designation with a minimum of four years of related experience, or an undergraduate degree with six years of related experience.
Strong project management and budget monitoring skills are essential for complex programs.
Proven ability to engage diverse stakeholders and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational oversight of the iCON portfolio and research projects.
Lead, coordinate, and manage multiple community engagement and research timelines.
Develop and maintain systems for administrative, financial, and procedural records.
Coordinate grant applications and prepare budgets and forecasts.
Oversee reporting to funders and coordinate communications with stakeholders.
Recruit, supervise and develop staff and students; participate in hiring.
Represent the program to principal investigators, committees, and external partners.
