Job summary

Metrolinx is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support divisional planning and operational excellence for HR procurement priorities. The ideal candidate will have experience with stakeholder management, complex procurement processes, forecasting, and budgeting.

The role focuses on partnering with executives, governance and cost efficiency, leveraging data-driven insights, reporting, and process improvement across HR initiatives to drive value for the organization.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Business, Finance, Math or Commerce or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Partner with Commercial, Vendor Management, and Procurement to track HR contracts and spend
• Oversee vendor performance, contract milestones and invoicing timelines
• Support leaders through procurement by coordinating required support and approvals
• Create reporting templates, analytical models and automated processes
• Lead annual financial and budget planning for the HR Division
• Communicate with executives on project progress
• Develop internal and external networks for information gathering
• Support corporate initiatives including Business Continuity Planning and facilities management
• Promote innovation and best practices while ensuring governance
• Support continuous improvement through strategic advice and data analysis
