Job summary

BC Centre for Ability (BCCFA) in Vancouver, BC seeks a Human Resources Manager to lead HR strategy across unionized and exempt roles. You will supervise HR programs, labour relations, recruitment, compensation, OH&S, and accreditation compliance.

Reporting to the CEO, you will partner with executives to shape processes, foster an inclusive culture, and drive workforce engagement and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR management, business, or related field.
• CPHR designation preferred or actively pursuing.
• 5–7 years of progressive HR experience in a unionized environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of HR functions within a unionized health and community services setting.
• Lead labour relations strategy, including interpretation and application of collective agreements.
• Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, and workforce planning.
• Manage total rewards, disability management, OH&S, and accreditation program compliance.
• Direct HRIS operations (ADP Workforce Now) and reporting to inform decisions.
