Job summary

The City of Beaumont is seeking an experienced Human Resource Business Partner to advise leaders, manage employee relations and support disability management in a growing municipal environment. You will balance hands-on support with strategic initiatives, shaping HR policies and processes while protecting confidentiality and fairness.

Education includes a degree/diploma in HRM or Business, with 5 years of HR experience and 3 years in advisory roles.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Human Resource Management, Business, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible HR experience.
• 3+ years in generalist, business partner, or advisory capacity.
• Experience with employee relations, performance management, disability management and investigations.
• Designing and improving HR policies, programs, tools or processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching to leaders on employee relations, attendance, conduct, and workplace concerns.
• Lead fact-finding, investigations, corrective action, and discipline.
• Manage disability, accommodation and return-to-work cases with partners.
• Develop and improve People Services programs, processes, and leader resources.
• Coach leaders on performance management and documentation.
• Support recruitment and workforce planning for departments.
