Job summary

Pacific Blue Cross is seeking an experienced Account Executive, Group Business, to manage a portfolio of complex strategic clients in British Columbia. This hybrid role blends office and remote work, with a pay-for-performance structure and ICP bonus potential.

You’ll lead annual planning, renewals, and client management, building strong relationships with advisors and internal teams to deliver measurable value and operational improvements.

Qualifications

• 6 years of sales experience with 4+ years in group benefits/insurance.
• In-depth knowledge of group insurance products and underwriting methods.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Aptitude for multi-tasking and prioritizing workloads.

Responsibilities

• Manage an existing book of complex strategic business and build client relationships.
• Understand clients and our business, identify opportunities to add value.
• Lead annual planning and strategic client management with clients.
• Identify pain points and improve processes to reduce operational impact.
• Turn opportunities into action with project management discipline.
• Collaborate across teams to solve problems and move priorities forward.
• Support renewals by understanding needs and strengthening relationships.
• Identify initiatives beneficial to the broader book of business.
