Job summary

BC Housing is seeking a Manager, Intergovernmental Relations to lead and implement a comprehensive government relations program. The role coordinates between BC Housing and orders of government, attending meetings both digitally and in person, and provides strategic counsel to Ministers’ Offices and partner Ministries.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in public administration, social sciences, or related field.
• Experience with local government, elected officials, or political environments.
• Significant intergovernmental or government relations experience with handling sensitive, complex situations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive government relations program aligned with BC Housing’s mission and objectives.
• Liaise between BC Housing and orders of government; coordinate high-profile meetings and events.
• Provide strategic counsel to the Minister’s Office and partner Ministries; manage relationships with senior officials.
