Job summary

Energy Jobline is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager for Food Manufacturing, based in Burlington, MA. You will lead raw material sourcing across multiple facilities and partner with cross-functional teams to secure supply, optimize total cost of ownership, and drive sustainable procurement value.

This role requires 5+ years in strategic sourcing, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, operations, economics, or related field.
• 5+ years in strategic sourcing or procurement, preferably in food/CPG.
• Strong knowledge of commodity markets, supplier management, and sourcing strategies.
• Experience with RFx processes, negotiations, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Understanding of total cost of ownership, risk management, and supplier performance metrics.
• Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Monitor commodity markets and track sourcing performance metrics.
• Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives, RFx processes, negotiations, and market-driven decisions.
• Develop and maintain annual category strategies and sourcing plans.
• Analyze, report, and forecast KPIs including savings and supplier performance.
• Identify and qualify new suppliers to improve cost, quality, and resilience.
• Manage supplier agreements and contract development with Legal.
• Oversee supplier performance reviews and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Support day-to-day procurement activities and development of Procurement Analyst.
