Job summary

ProFound Talent Inc. is seeking a Senior Materials Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership for materials planning, procurement, inventory management and warehousing in support of manufacturing and growth.

This role partners with Sales, Operations and Engineering to translate forecasts into actionable material plans, drives lean improvements, and ensures cost competitiveness and high service levels across global supply chains.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years in manufacturing supply chain with leadership experience.
Proven ability to lead procurement, inventory, warehousing and materials teams.
Experience collaborating with Sales, Operations, Engineering and Finance.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP/Oracle/MS Dynamics).

Responsibilities

Develops and executes materials management, procurement, inventory and warehousing strategies.
Translates demand forecasts into material planning and supply chain strategies.
Drives lean initiatives and continuous improvement across operations.
Oversees procurement to meet production schedules and customer commitments.
Maintains optimal inventory levels balancing demand, lead times and working capital.
Leads supplier relationships and on-time delivery performance.
Monitors KPIs like inventory turns and service levels.
Provides leadership to procurement, inventory and warehousing teams.
